Olive - Lyons Silk Scarf

The gate is open. Will you go in? This scarf reproduces in extraordinary, detail a masterwork of needlepoint embroidery: a garden scene of the most intimate and inviting charm. A wrought iron gate crowned with climbing roses and decorative ironwork stands ajar in a warm terracotta brick wall, flanked by a sweet pink-windowed manor cottage to the left and slender dark cypress sentinels to either side. Beyond the gate, a white gravel path winds away into a luminous garden of the most exquisite colour, soft pinks, mauves, buttery yellows, and warm creams tumbling together in a herbaceous border of extraordinary richness, the whole scene suffused in a golden warmth that speaks of long summer afternoons and a garden tended with devotion. To the right, the landscape rolls away in waves of teal, gold, and autumn colour. Framed in a deep slate green border.
