A view that makes you want to stop the car and simply stand there. This scarf reproduces in luminous, detail, an oil painting of breathtaking panoramic scope: a great rolling English valley seen from high above, the land sweeping down in waves of ochre, burnt sienna, olive, and deep moss green to a glinting teal pond and a cluster of warm stone farm buildings nestled in the valley floor. Above, the sky is magnificent a vast, turbulent theatre of cream and slate cloud lit from within by a hidden sun, the whole painted in the loose, expressive brushwork of the mid-century British landscape tradition. In the foreground, a gnarled oak leans into the composition from the left, its canopy just catching the light; below it, a tumble of wildflowers in coral and cream. Framed in a fine powder blue border.
